Curric-ZOO-lum: Third Grade

third grade curric-ZOO-lumThis fast-paced program, developed with area teachers, rotates third graders through learning stations which incorporate mathematics, geography and science. Students will meet animals to discover the differences and similarities between the vertebrate classes, travel the globe to identify continents and the animals that live on them, and perform various math procedures involving weighing a monkey's lunch and measuring the length of a snake shed.

Time: 10am to 1:15pm (30 min. lunch)
Dates: Mon - Fri
Group Size: Minimum of 30 students. Maximum 100 students (in 3 equal groups).
*Please plan to schedule more than one day if you have more than 100 students.
Cost: $8.00 per student. Seminole County - $7.00
Teachers/chaperones free. One adult per 5 students required. Up to five additional chaperones max.
