Learn about animal care at the Zoo, how things work in the medical center, and meet the animal care team. Campers will also have fun with experiments, including exploring the ooey, gooey science of ickyology and learning gross-out facts about animals!

Experience what it’s like to be a zookeeper by learning how to care for the animals. Participants will conduct animal behavior studies, meet the Zoo Keepers, and create enrichments for the animals.
Discover firsthand what it takes to design a zoo! From ticket sales to gift shops, animal care to habitats, we’ll explore the zoo to meet the staff and go behind the scenes. Learn why zoos play such an important role in saving animals around the world and work as a team to design and build your own zoo!
