The Zoo welcomes you in celebration of World Wildlife Day on Saturday, March 8!
World Wildlife Day was founded at the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora (CITES) in 1973.
This year, we’re raising funds for Proyecto Titi, an incredible conservation program that is helping to protect the critically endangered cotton top tamarin.
Through extra activities, games, presentations, and more, we’re raising awareness for the cotton top tamarin and other wildlife that experience the same sorts of external threats.
Celebrate our planet’s amazing wildlife and learn how YOU can to take action to protect it, with:
The Zoo will open to the public at 9 a.m., and the World Wildlife Day celebration will continue until close at 4 p.m.
This event is included in general Zoo admission.
