Group Rules and Recommendations

Name tags – We recommend every person in your group wear a visible name tag, especially if visiting with children.

Clothing — The Zoo is an outdoor facility; dressing appropriately for the weather can make your visit more enjoyable. We recommend wearing closed-toe shoes, socks, sunglasses, insect repellent, hats, sunscreen, and bottled water. Be sure to bring an umbrella or rain poncho if appropriate.

Chaperones — Adults must accompany children at all times. At least one chaperone is recommended for every 10 kids.

Safari Lunches— The Zoo can provide boxed lunches for your group for an additional fee. This includes a hot dog or sandwich, chips, cookies, and a drink. Lunches must be ordered at least one week prior to your group via email at fieldtrips@centralfloridazoo.org.

Public Picnic Areas — We offer picnic tables at no additional cost, available on a first-come, first-served basis. Lunches or coolers may be taken to the picnic areas but may not be brought inside the Zoo.
