The Central Florida Zoo & Botanical Gardens is normally a hot spot for kids and families, but on April 8, it’s the adults’ turn to enjoy. The Zoo’s WILDLY popular beer tasting event, Brews Around the Zoo, is back!
Attendees will have the chance to sample more than 30 craft beers as well as wine and seltzer selections while strolling through the Zoo from 5 to 9 p.m. Early admission is available at 4 p.m., and there are also special VIP tickets. The event, presented by Wayne Densch, Inc., is one of the biggest fundraisers for the Zoo, supporting its mission of animal conservation and community education.
“This is such a fun event for the Central Florida Zoo,” said CEO Richard E. Glover, Jr. “Not only do we get to show the Zoo in a new light and reach new people; we get to raise money for the important conservation work we do year-round.”
In addition to the chance to sip and stroll, attendees will get to enjoy live music. Food will be available for purchase, and signature light up mugs will also be available. The event is only open to those 21+ and guests must show a valid ID upon arrival.

Tickets are $50 for general admission and $70 for early admission. VIP tickets include a private seating area with restrooms, an exclusive food menu and cocktails, as well as complimentary mugs and parking for $150.
The event takes place rain or shine. The Zoo will be closed all day during its normal hours on April 8 in preparation for Brews Around the Zoo.
