Celebrate spring at the Central Florida Zoo with Hippity Hop Adventure

SANFORD, Fla. (March 12, 2025) – Spring has sprung and the Central Florida Zoo & Botanical Gardens is ready to make your season egg-stra special!

Hop on over for the Zoo’s annual springtime celebration, Hippity Hop Adventure on Saturday, April 19, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Last entry is at 3 p.m.

This egg-citing event features something for everyone including:

  • Treat trail stations
  • Scavenger egg hunt throughout the Zoo
  • DJ dance party on the splashpad
  • Giveaways
  • Barnyard Buddies + Giraffe feedings
  • Arts & crafts

And of course, the main bunny himself, the Easter Bunny, will be hopping by to take photos with guests.

The fun doesn’t stop there—our animal residents will join in on the celebration too with Easter-themed enrichment items in their habitats.

“Hippity Hop Adventure is a wonderful way for families to come together and celebrate the season,” said CEO Richard E. Glover, Jr. “This event blends festive fun with opportunities to learn about wildlife and conservation, making it a perfect day for all of our guests.”

All events and activities are included in general Zoo admission. Online pricing is $25.95 for adults, $19.95 for children, and $21.95 for seniors, while gate prices are $27.95 for adults, $21.95 for children, and $23.95 for seniors. Children 2 and younger are free. General admission tickets can be purchased here.

This event is a blackout date for Annual Pass Holders, and admission is $5 per person named on the pass during the event. Pass holders can purchase tickets, here.
